The Law Office of Ulani P. Gulstone, PLLC is a boutique law office established in 2014 that is dedicated to providing client-focused and results-oriented advocacy to individuals, families, businesses and community associations in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Since 2008, Ulani Prater Gulstone has provided advice and counsel to community associations, small businesses, individuals and families in a variety of matters, including, but not limited to, real estate, organizational governance, contracts, business planning, estate planning and probate. She brings this experience, along with a passion for ensuring that her clients are well-informed of their rights and obligations, to each client to ensure that decisions are made from a position of strength and not the exigencies of the moment.
Ulani served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Cathy H. Serrette of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland. There she gained extensive knowledge about the inner-workings of the court and the legal system. After her clerkship, Ulani became a family law attorney with Maryland Legal Aid, a non-profit law firm that provides civil legal representation to low-income individuals. Ulani was later an Associate Attorney for several years with a small law firm in Washington, D.C., focusing primarily on community association representation (homeowners associations, condominiums and cooperative associations) and estate planning.
Ulani received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After time as a licensed Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed and in the Corporate Compensation Division of Union Planters Bank (now Regions Bank) in Memphis, TN, she earned her Juris Doctor from the Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC.
